TEN Months!

First school picture! :)

April started off with a bang and it doesn't appear to be slowing down. First on the agenda was Jennifer taking her first weekend away! 

Drea's 30th birthday party reunited the old college roommates for a trip through the Michigan wine country. From what I hear, it was a good time filled with food, wine, and gossip. 

The girls didn't know the true purpose of this 'toy' until a few hours later when Mom left with it. While it had its rough parts, both of us survived the weekend. 

Since I was at home with the girls, it was up to me to get their 10 month pictures. That was probably the biggest adventure of the weekend. Over the last few months, their mobility has increased greatly which makes things like taking still pictures a challenge. I thought putting them in a new outfit would distract them enough to get a few good ones...it worked...for the most part. 

The following weekend, we were suppose to have Grandpa and Grandma Nevers up for a visit, but unfortunately Mother Nature did not agree. We ended up getting 7" of snow on Thursday, which prevented most travel. We will have to make up for lost time when we travel to Indy in a few weeks. It is actually snowing now too. We are on pace for the 2nd snowiest April on record. That said, some of us did get to enjoy the weather:

I will leave you with a few more random pictures we took over the last few weeks. They are starting to make some of the funniest faces. In case you were wondering, the school picture at the top was taken a few weeks ago...and it makes us laugh every time we look at it. We have no idea why they were making those faces or how they were able to sit next to each other like that.
