It's been such a long time...

If you look closely, you can make out a few smiles.

While it hasn't seemed that way over the last few months, we are trying to keep this blog up to date. We have a lot to catch-up on, so lets get to the stories.

For our first shared birthday party that included all 3 girls, we decided to go with the golden birthday theme for Emily and Lucy and a pink theme for Mackenzie. Of course, Emily and Lucy also demanded a FROZEN birthday as well. Disney's marketing is really starting to pay off. Thankfully their actual birthday was a on Wednesday which allowed us to have the Frozen birthday and a golden/pink birthday. I imagine this is the last year we will get much say in their birthday plans...

Emily and Lucy were doing their best to show Kenzie how to these birthdays work. It was pretty amazing to see how excited Mac was for her birthday cake. She is usually full of smiles, but she was grinning ear to ear when the cake came her direction. As for what style of cake, there is only one choice...ice cream. Not sure there are many better options out there to celebrate your birthday.

Once we got to the actual cake eating part, Mackenzie really came into her own and didn't want to share with anyone including Jennifer. Ha.

A birthday party wouldn't be complete without a few PRESENTS to open! Mac needed no introduction into how to open presents. :)

And it wouldn't be a Frozen party with a few Frozen presents. Lucy still LOVES to play dress-up. [Even as I type this, she is walking around in Tiana shoes, Elsa dress, AND Anna costume on. Welcome to a Sunday in the Nevers house.] As soon as she opened the Anna high-heels she had to put them on. Not many days go by when she doesn't at least put on heels, let alone a full princess outfit including gloves and tiara.

Mackenzie was also very excited to finally have her own car to ride, however I think her sisters quickly annexed this into their possession.
